Collection: Celebrating Women Artists
In recognition and celebration of International Women’s Day March 8th, this month we bring you a collection of art cases from female artist throughout western art history. While Western art has never been entirely absent of women it has never been an easy or equal path to forge. In the words of one of our featured artists Berthe Morisot: “I don’t think there has ever been a man who treated a woman as an equal and that’s all I would have asked for, for I know I’m worth as much as they”
So, we celebrate them and share their amazing work so that more people can become aware of and enjoy their worthy talent.
